Biography

Fluids are systems of many particles at medium or low densities. When we have diversity in the interactions between particles in the same system (polydispersed system) we call it a complex fluid. Solutions of water, gelatin, hair sprays, paint, milk, shaving foam, blood, magnetic fluids, etc. are the most important substances in the liquid or gaseous state . Are all fluids made up of various components. The field of soft matter is largely devoted to the study of the properties of these substances and this is the field on which I focus my research. Among these systems, materials and fluids with electrical and magnetic properties are my current focus of attention, both in terms of soft matter and, more recently, condensed matter (solids).

Research Interest

Given the potential amount of interactions in many body systems, it is imperative to use the tools of statistical mechanics in conjunction with computational physics when venturing into research in this field. That is why these tools form in themselves an important part of my interests.
