Biography
Assistant Professor of Academic Career Speech Therapist, MSc, Disability and Social Inclusion Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Program School of Medicine and Health Sciences Universidad del Rosario Speech therapist, Magister in Disability and Social Inclusion of the National University of Colombia. She has worked as a consultant and project coordinator in public and private entities such as the Organization of Ibero-American States for Education, Science and Culture, the Ministry of Education of Bogotá, the Ministry of National Education, among others. Linked to local and national programs and projects related to educational quality, formulation of public policies, qualification of educational communities in early childhood, childhood, differential approach, inclusive education, disability and social inclusion. Invited lecturer at national and international events. Experience in teaching, research and practice with emphasis on education, social inclusion, public and community health. Publication of books, booklets, videos, book chapters and scientific articles on subjects related to their disability training, CIF, CIF-IA, CIF-NJ, inclusive education, quality of education and social inclusion. It has been called as an evaluating pair of the ANC. National Accreditation Council. Recognition to the Academic Excellence of the National University of Colombia during a course in the Master in Disability and Social Inclusion (2008). She is a founding member of the Communicative Networks Journal of the Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology program of the National University of Colombia where she served as Editor and Coordinator (1998-2001). Member of the Research Group in Rehabilitation Sciences of the School of Medicine and Health Sciences, Universidad del Rosario.
