Biography
Full Professor of the Faculty of Political Science, Government and International Relations, linked to the Universidad del Rosario from 2005 to the present. Doctor of Economics, National University of Colombia. Doctoral Thesis: individual freedoms and feasible opportunities (2009). Visiting Scholar at Columbia University, with tutoring by Jon Elster (2001). Adviser to Mayor Antanas Mockus on issues of collective action (2002-2003). Consultant for the International Center on Nonviolent Conflict, for the study of nonviolent social movements in Colombia (2006). Member of the International Consortium for Research on Violence (2012 to present), with some academic discussions on transitional justice, peacebuilding, and economic reconfiguration in countries that have suffered war, especially Iraq and Colombia. Leadership in the edition of a book titled Political Economy of Nonviolence, that would be published in 2018.
