Biography
Lawyer, Biologist and Environmental Sanitation. Master in Industrial Environmental Law from the University of Poitiers, France. Master's Degree in Human Rights from the University of Alcalá, Spain. He is currently Director of the Research Line on Environment and Human Rights through which he has directed the following research projects: 1. Social Environmental Conflicts in the CAR Jurisdiction. Funded by the Autonomous Regional Corporation of Cundinamarca (CAR). http://www.observatorioambientalcar.co/ 2. Human rights for citizen participation as a tool for the resolution of environmental conflicts. Funded by the CVC. 3. Women and Adaptation to Climate Change. Funded by the Autonomous Regional Corporation of Cundinamarca (CAR) 4. Baseline on Experiences of Participation in Environmental Conflicts in Colombia. Funded by the Ministry of Environment, Directorate of Participation 5. Colombian Observatory of Water Governance. Funded by the Ministry of Environment, Water Resources Management 6. Value chain of the Aurífera Informal Mining in Colombia. Funded by USAID and BGI. 7. Environmental Observatory and Sustainable Development of the Bogotá River (ORARBO). Funded by the District Environment Secretariat and CAR.
