Lucena Rafael

Biography

I am professor of Analytical Chemistry at the University of Córdoba since 2010. I have coauthored 85 scientific articles, 4 chapter of books (https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Rafael_Lucena). I have been guest editor in one special issue of Analytical and Bioanalytical Chemistry journal devoted to Microextraction techniques (2014). I have co-supervised 5 Doctoral Thesis. My main research interest comprises different areas, especially the development of new microextraction techniques as well as the evaluation of ionic liquids and nanoparticles in this context. Nowadays, I am working on the bioanalytical context using biomolecules as analytical tools for recognition of target analytes. In addition, I usually participate in several projects related to science divulgation.In fact, I am editor of Microextraction Tech blog.
