Antonio Fco. Vallano Ferraz is Associate Professor from Department of Pathology and Experimental Therapeutics at University of Barcelona. Research Interest
Pharmacoepidemiology (Study of the use and effects of medications in different populations or studies of the consumption and effects of medications in the community) 1-Studies of the use of medicines that deal with the commercialization, distribution and use of drugs in a society with a special emphasis on the medical, social and economic consequences that result. 2-Pharmacovigilance studies that analyze the impact of the undesired effects produced by medication in clinical practice. 3-Analysis of the transfer of the results of the investigation to the clinical practice, as the measurement of the impact of the publication of clinical trials on the prescription habits.
