Biography
Dr. Rissech is a researcher at the Unit of Physical Anthropology in the University of Barcelona. Her field of research is Forensic Anthropology and Paleoanthropology, specifically in sexual dimorphism, bone growth, ageing process and adult age markers. She worked at different universities, at the University of Coimbra (Portugal) as a Postdoctoral researcher, at the University Autonomous of Barcelona (Bellaterra, Barcelona, Spain) as Associate professor of Human Biology, at the University of Barcelona (Barcelona, Spain) as Associate professor of Physical Anthropology and Human Evolution and at the University of los Andes (Bogotá, Colombia) as invited professor.
