Research Interest
Currently (and for some years now) my research focuses on the study of Pyrenean flora and vegetation, especially in the Aigüestortes and Estany de Sant Maurici National Park, in the Vall d'Aran and Andorra. Within this context, I have also devoted myself to the ecological monitoring of communities that grow in the most sensitive environments, both for climate change and for land use. I work on the study of reforestation processes in the domain of subalpine forest and on the monitoring of the dynamics of alpine vegetation of especially nested sites such as congestion. On the other hand, I have devoted a good part of my time to the cartography of vegetation, especially in the coordination of the uprising and network publication of the Vegetation Map of Catalonia at E. 1: 50,000 that we carry out jointly with the Generalitat de Catalunya
