Biography
Joan Sanmartí Grego (Barcelona, 1955) is professor in Archeology at the Universitat de Barcelona. He has focused his research in the study of the Protohistory in the occidental Mediterranean, particularly, in the social and economical processes of the Iberian states until their dissolution in Roman-republican times. He has also worked researching about the Talaiotic culture (Balearic islands) and has also made several research projects and archaeological excavations in Catalonia and in the Balearic Islands (collaborating with Joan Santacana).
