Research Interest
Study of the patterns of plant diversity in Mediterranean agricultural landscapes, as part of a growing agricultural intensification and in relation to different management practices, with special attention to the contrast between conventional and ecological agricultural practices. Analysis of the causes and effects of certain patterns in changes in arvenses communities (crop competition and herbicide sensitivity, impact on non-plant components of agricultural systems) and the implications for management and conservation. Spatial analysis of diversity data.
