Pharmacoepidemiology (Study of the use and effects of medications in different populations or studies of the consumption and effects of medications in the community) 1-Studies of the use of medicines that deal with the commercialization, distribution and use of drugs in a society with special emphasis on the resulting medical, social and economic consequences. 2-Pharmacovigilance studies that analyze the impact of the undesired effects produced by medication in clinical practice . 3-Analysis of the transfer of the results of the investigation to the clinical practice, as the measurement of the impact of the publication of clinical trials on the prescription habits.
