Lourdes Chamorro Lorenzo is a Professorfrom Department of Botany at University of Barcelona. Her topic of interest is Agroecology, Biodiversity, Ecological Agriculture, Arvense Species, Ecology of Landscape.
Research Interest
Biology and ecology of arvense species, study of their interactions with other organisms, their management and the environment. Analysis of the crop biodiversity of crops in relation to the rest of landscape elements: crop margins and semi-natural and natural habitats of the agricultural landscape. Analysis of agronomic management (cultivation, fertilization, rotation) for the proposal of improvements in the conservation of biodiversity, as is the case of organic farming practices. Study of the ecosystem functions of arvenses: pollination.
