Mercè Bernal Cid a Professor from Department of Botany at University of Barcelona. Her topic of interest is Biosystematics and Taxonomy of vascular plants.

Biosystemic, taxonomic and corological studies of various genera of vascular plants ( Limonium , Dianthus , Euphorbia , Antirrhinum , Linaria , Achillea , etc.), belonging to different families.
