Carmen García González

Biography

Professor of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Department of Animal Production and Food Science. Degree in Biological Sciences and Veterinary Medicine from the University of León and Doctor in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Extremadura. She has taught in the Bachelor and Veterinary degrees, in the Master's Degree in Science and Technology of Meat and in various courses monographs in doctoral programs. It has obtained the recognition of 5 teaching periods and the maximum of possible sections (3) in the "Evaluation of teaching activity of teachers" promoted by the Junta de Extremadura (calls 2007 and 20014).  

Research Interest

His field of research is the quality of meat and meat products that he has been able to develop thanks to his participation in more than 20 competitive research projects and fifteen contracts with companies in the meat sector. He has directed 11 Doctoral Theses and several Bachelor Thesis and Master's Thesis.
