Biography
Dr. Joan Blanco has extensive experience as an assisted nursing staff, endorsed for 17 years in the management unit of Health Services Management at the University Hospital Arnau de Vilanova. He is an expert in chronic wounds with a mention of excellence for the National Group of Wounds (GNEAUPP), as part of his advisory committee. He has numerous communications and papers in national and international congresses in the field of geriatrics and chronic wounds, co-authors of book chapters and in collaboration with other professionals, has up to 5 research prizes from different institutions. He is the director of the Postgraduate Course in Comprehensive Attention to the Person with Chronic Injuries organized by the University of Lleida and coordinator of the Vascular Wound module of the Official Master's Degree in Comprehensive Management and Chronic Injuries Research at the University of Cantabria.
