Biography
Fernando Bagnoli has a Master of Science in Structural Design from the University of São Paulo (USP) and is a graduate in Civil Engineering, also from USP's Escola Politécnica. His academic interests focus on Strategic Planning and Execution, Corporate Governance, Global Businesses and Leadership. He has an extensive executive experience as Business Director and Regional CEO for many multinational companies such as Dow Chemical, Steelcase and Quest International (part of Imperial Chemical Industries ICI ) in the Americas and Asia. He is currently an independent Board Director in several Brazilian companies in various industries and markets. For the last 6 years, he has taught at ISE Business School in São Paulo, Brazil, in the General Management department and in IESE's AMP , PMD and EMBA programs. He has written a number of cases on General Management and Corporate Governance in Brazilian companies. Fernando played competitive tennis and still plays on a regular basis. He travels frequently all over the world with Silvia, his wife for the last 36 years. He has two sons.
