Biography
Fotis Christodoulopoulos received his M.Sc. in Telecommunications Engineering from the Technical University RWTH Aachen, Germany and holds an MBA from l'École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées ENPC in Paris. He combines an international career in Information Systems with a large experience in Operations. He founded his first e-commerce startup in 2000 and is working since 2005 as a consultant for blue chip companies, bridging the deployment and use of information technology with process excellence initiatives. He has lived and worked in Germany, France, Belgium, Greece and Spain and has been professionally active in Europe, North and South America and Asia. Fotis is a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and has working proficiency in seven languages. He has been an invited professor at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. His research and academic interests focus on methods of data acquisition and analysis in heterogeneous environments and in the industrial use of the "Internet of Things".
