Biography
Dr Capellà is an internationally recognized expert in molecular oncology and hereditary cancer, having published more than 200 original papers and reviews. He has been actively working in the development of new tumor biomarkers, and has collaborated with several biotechnological companies. He possesses strong directive skills and expertise in team management and has held different responsibilities in research and scientific strategy. Dr. Capellà is the Director of the Translational Research Laboratory at Institut Català d'Oncologia (ICO-IDIBELL) from the year 2002, a position that he currently combines with the Scientific Direction of the Institut de Recerca Biomèdica de Bellvitge (IDIBELL) .
