Timothy Pearson

Biography

Timothy Pearson has served as our Chief Financial Officer since May 2014. Prior to joining TESARO, Mr. Pearson was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Catalyst Health Solutions, where he led the finance and strategic planning functions. Previously, Mr. Pearson served in a number of financial executive roles at MedImmune, the biologics division of AstraZeneca, including the positions of Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer; Vice President of Finance; and Treasurer. During his thirteen year tenure at MedImmue, prior to its acquisition by AstraZenca, Mr. Pearson was involved with commercial launches, marketing partnerships, in-licensing transactions and several acquisitions. Mr. Pearson has more than 20 years of finance and executive leadership experience and serves on the Board of Directors of Glycomimetics and Ra Pharmaceuticals. He holds a bachelor degree in Business Administration from the University of Delaware, a master's in finance from Loyola University Maryland and a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Maryland University College. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.
