Biography

I have worked in one way or another with mass spectrometry since 1991, mostly in marketing/support/technical or scientific positions, starting out during my PhD. After that I did a post-doc in mass spec then joined a vendor in 1996. I have an excellent general knowledge and understanding of modern mass spectrometry and technology in general and of how to solve analytical problems and from that knowledge and understanding of customers and prospects how to sell and market to them. For the last few years I have worked in marketing and selling (via sales support) mass spectrometers. Currently I am responsible for marketing the science and technology, the global leader in metabolomics. Specialties: Sales support, marketing and selling strategies and tactics for analytical instruments. Knowledge of technology. Effective written and oral communication. Managing collaborations.  Highly experienced and effective public speaker/presenter. Managing employees across multiple countries. Structuring and managing demo/apps organization. Applications research.
