Biography
James Roosevelt, Jr. joined Alere’s Board on February 6, 2009 and is a member of the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee. Mr. Roosevelt has served as the Chief Executive Officer of Tufts Health Plan since 2005 and served as the President of Tufts Health Plan from 2005 until September 2013. From 1999 to 2005, Mr. Roosevelt was Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Tufts Health Plan. Mr. Roosevelt also serves as Co-Chair of the Rules and By-laws Committee of the Democratic National Committee, Co-Chair of the Board of Directors for the Tufts Health Care Institute, and a member of the Board of Directors of America’s Health Insurance Plans.
