Biography
John F. Levy has served on Alere’s Board since May 30, 2001 and is currently Chairperson of the Board’s Audit Committee. He served as lead independent director from October 2013 until May 2014. Mr. Levy served as a director of Inverness Medical Technology from August 1996 through November 2001, when that company was acquired by Johnson & Johnson. Since 1993, he has been an independent consultant. Mr. Levy served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Waban, Inc., a warehouse merchandising company, from 1989 to 1993.
