Academic Qualification : B.Ed. (Hon), Eastern University of Sri Lanka – 2009 Present Post : Lecturer (Probationary), Department of Education and Childcare Related experiences in Education : Teaching Experiences (internship training for 3 months) – 2009 at BT/ Vincent Girls High National School. Certificates in Basic training programme for temporary assistant lecturers in Education → Certificate in preparing to teach the large lecture course, Preparing lecture notes, managing a large lecture course. Certificate in office management, teaching methods, Ethics of professionals, management of academic programme. Certificate in Philosophy of work, management of students & student’s societies, Building teams for higher performance. Reading – M.Phil in Education at University Jaffna, Sri Lanka Other Experiences: One and half years experience in temporary assistant lecturer in Department of Education and Child care, Eastern University in 2009 to 2011. Women’s development officer at Ministry of women’s development and child affair in January 2012 to May 2012. Working as a Development officer at Eravur pattu Chenkalady Divisional secretariat in June 2012 to November 2012. Working as a Temporary Assistant Lecturer in Department of Education and Child care, Eastern University in November 2012 to March 2013. Have been working as a Lecturer (probationary) in Dept. of. Education & Childcare in Faculty of Arts & Culture in Eastern University Sri Lanka, since 15th March of 2013. Diploma in Project Management at Mecwin Resource Pvt Ltd. Completed National certificate in English (NCE) course at Technical College, Manchanthoduvai, Batticaloa. Certificate of participation in Research proposal and report writing at University of Colombo.
