Biography
Appointed to the Board of Hayleys PLC as an Independent, Non-Executive Director in September, 2016. Mr. Perera counts for over 30 years in the banking sector and is the former Managing Director of Sampath Bank PLC. He is a Fellow Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (UK)(FCMA) and a Fellow of the Institute of Bankers – Sri Lanka (FIB). He holds an MBA from the Post Graduate Institute of Management, University of Sri Jayewardenepura. He is also a member of the Institute of Engineers (Sri Lanka)(MIESL) and a Chartered Engineer (C.Eng).
