Biography
Rejoined Hayleys in March 2007. Appointed to the Group Management Committee in July 2007. Appointed to the Board in September 2009. Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka and Member of the Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Australia. Holds an MBA from the Postgraduate Institute of Management, University of Sri Jayewardenepura. Worked for Hayleys and Diesel & Motor Engineering Co. between 1987 and 2002, and as an Executive Director of the latter. Subsequently held several senior management positions in large, private sector entities in Sri Lanka and overseas. Has responsibility for the Strategic Business Development and the Consumer sectors.
