Biography
Mr. Ramabadran Gopalakrishnan has over 48 years of experience in professional management with 31 years in Unilever and 17 years in TATA. He has served as Chairman of Unilever Arabia, as Managing Director of Brooke Bond Lipton India, and as Vice Chairman of Hindustan Unilever Limited. After his Unilever career, he joined Tata Sons as a Director. He retired from TATA in December 2015 and currently serves as an Independent Director on the boards of the Indian subsidiaries of Akzo Nobel and Castrol India. Mr. Gopalakrishnan studied physics at Calcutta University, Engineering at IIT Kharagpur and completed an Advanced Management Program at the Harvard Business School.
