Biography

The Kandy Nursing Homes (pvt) ltd. (KNH) was inaugurated in 1947. At first it served the populace of the Kandy District and surrounding regions as a Maternity Care Centre and the first baby was delivered by Dr.V.H.L.Anthonisz o the 31st January 1947, thereafter was expanded to cover all surgeries, medical and nursing care and is today a well developed hospital with 30 Rooms with all modern amenities.
