Mr Weeratne was appointed to the Board of Lanka Hospitals Corporation PLC on 24Th June 2016. He Holds a Postgraduate Higher Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK). In additional he is certified resources personal of IBM Software Group in Marketing and presales. He held various Senior Management positions in the fields of Insurance, Marketing, Procurement, Process Improvement, manufacturing and Information Technology.
