Biography
Mr. Ralph de Lanerolle joined the Board of Directors of the Company in August 2010. Mr. de Lanerolle has over 45 years of work experience in both the public and private sectors, where he has held senior management positions, of which more than 20 years has been at the level of CEO/MD. A Chartered Engineer, Mr. de Lanerolle holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (First Class Honors) from the University of Ceylon (1965) and a Masters Degree from the University of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada (1968). He is a member of the Association of Professional Bankers of Sri Lanka and a Fellow of the Economic Development Institute of the World Bank, Washington. In an individual capacity, he has served as Consultant to several private companies, providing project related advisory services from pre-investment to implementation stages. Mr. de Lanerolle has served, and continues to serve, on the Board of Directors of several other private and public listed companies.
