  Credentials: Masters of Science in Physical Therapy My Official Title is: Karen Munger, MSPT Special Training in: Women’s Health, Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation, Pilates, Manual Orthopedic Therapy, Pediatrics, McKenzie Evaluation and Treatment for Spine I have been with CPR since 2011 Hometown: Rockford, MI The best part of my job is helping people get their life back is the best part of my job. It is rewarding and humbling to see a patient return to their favorite activity, walk without a device or safely with a device, return to work, or experience less pain and improved quality of life. Athletic Traine I chose to work at CPR because the owners at the Center for Physical Rehabilitation supported me in my efforts to develop a women’s health program. I have been provided with the necessary education and equipment to evaluate and treat pelvic floor dysfunction including pelvic pain, urinary and bowel incontinence, constipation-related issues, post-partum issues with diastasis recti (separation of abdominal muscles)/pelvic instability/scar mobility and core retraining. The staff at CPR is inspirational and I enjoy the unique personalities and backgrounds/experiences of each therapist. A good weekend includes spending quality time with my family, a good workout and fun with friends. When I am not at work, I am busy taking care of my three children, volunteering at school and church, and spending time with my four year old at home.
