Dr. B.N.L.Munasinghe is working as an Lecturer in the Department of Surgery, University of Kelaniya, Srilanka. His Research Interests: Thermography in Breast cancer, Elemental analysis and electron microscopic characteristics of breast cancer cells, Use of Mobile apps for breast cancer patient management. Awards and fellowships: Best Presenter at the Research Symposium, Staff Development Programme 2016 (cycle17). Development of mobile applications for stoma care and breast cancer patient management: a longitudinal study. Best oral presentation award at the 15th congress of the Asian Association of Endocrine Surgeons, April 7-9, 2016. Mini incision thyroidectomy: alternative approach to cosmetic thyroidectomy.
