Biography
Dr. S. Selliah is working as Senoir Lecturer Grade I in the Department of Physiology, University of Kelaniya, Srilanka. His Research Interests are chronic pancreatitis.Medical Faculty Responsibilities : Chairperson- Urinary System Module Member of Computer committee Infrastructure Member of Development and Planning committee Member of Medical Faculty Development Programmes Admissions committee Profile: Was Head of Department from December 1999 till end 2008.Graduated from North Colombo Medical College.Joined the Faculty of Medicine,University of Kelaniya in the year 1991 as a lecturer.Prior to this was lecturer at the North Colombo Medical College.Was appointed Senior Lecturer from 1996.Have served in various committees of the faculty.Postgraduate work was done on effects of antioxidants on the preservation of kidneys.
