Dr. W. Nirmala S. Perera is working as an Senior Lecturer (Grade I), Department of Forensic Medicine, University of Kelaniya, Srilanka. Her Professional Contributions : Organizer of the “Faculty Day” 2010-2013. Student counselor, Faculty of Medicine,2009-2011. Chairmen of Legal Medicine and Toxicology module,2009-2012. Secretary of the Ethics review committee, of the Faculty of Medicine,2011- up to date. Chairman of the Welfare committee, 20th Anniversary Medical exhibition 2011. Treasure of KMFTA 2009. Treasure of Alumni Association, Faculty of Medicine,2009-2013. Member, Board of Study in Forensic Medicine of the Postgraduate institute of Medicine, University of Colombo, from 2009 -2012. Head, Department of Forensic Medicine, Faculty of Medicine from – 2009- 2012. Member student’s welfare committee from 2007 up to date. Member of the Mental health, behaviour and ethics strand from 2007.
