Biography
Gamithri obtained her first degree in Business Administration with a first class honours from the University of Colombo in November 2007. She then joined Nestle Lanka Plc as a management trainee and was later promoted as an assistant brand manager. Upon obtaining hands on experience in brand management for more than two and half years, Gamithri joined the Faculty of Management and Finance of the University of Colombo as a temporary lecturer in the department of marketing. She joined the department of Industrial Management as a lecturer in 2011. Gamithri obtained a Master of Business Administration from Postgraduate Institute of Management, University of Sri Jayewardenepura in 2012. She is also a corporate trainer and a visiting lecturer to many other institutions in Sri Lanka. Gamithri is currently reading for a Ph.D. in Australia.
