Ms. L. K. E. Positions held and holding in academic and scientific bodies : Deputy Secretary of Sri Lankan audiologists’ Association (August, 2016 - to date) Demonstrator, Department of Disability Studies, Faculty of Medicine, University of Kelaniya (February, 2013 - October 2013) Positions held & holding in committees in the Faculty of Medicine & University of Kelaniya : BSc (SHS) Curriculum review committee member (July 2015- January 2016) Integrated BSc curriculum development committee (August 2015- March 2016 Representative member of the Department of Disability Studies to the Exhibits and Future World Committee Representative member of the Department of Disability Studies to the Medical Exhibition committee 2016.

Noise induced hearing loss and hearing conservation, Speech audiometry, Prevalence of hearing loss among adults and children and Neonatal hearing screening.
