Prof. E. G. D. S. Rajindrajith is working as an Cadre Chair and Professor, Honorary Consultant Paediatrician, Head of the Department in the Department of Paediatrics, University of Kelaniya, Srilanka. He is Specialized in General Paediatrics. His Research Interests : Epidemiological research on functional gastrointestinal diseases in children and adolescents, Physiological studies of gastric myoelectrical activity and gastric emptying in children with abdominal pain related functional gastrointestinal diseases, Epidemiology and molecular epidemiology of viral gastroenteritis in Sri Lanka, Nonalcoholic steatohepatitis in children and adults, Inflammatory bowel disease in Sri Lanka.
