Research Interest
Effects of probiotics, fermented milk products on serum parameters Criteria for selection of ideal probiotics; Effects of supplementation of Se, prebiotics, probiotics and nucleotides on serum parameters; Vitamin D status of our Sri lankan Population; Analysis of Gall stones and Renal stones with respect to dietary pattern; The common edible plants with a risk of toxicity; Study of the involvement of heavy metals and ceruloplasmin in epileptic patients in Sri Lanka and the effects of antiepileptic drugs on serum heavy metal concentrations; Comparison of toxic effects of Bungarus species in Sri Lanka; Characterization of venom of Sri Lankan Snakes; Effects of endogenous medicine on toxic effects of cobra venom. Identification of salaivary antigenic proteins in mosquitoes.
