Biography
Currently the Dean and the chair professor of Statistics and Computer Science, the Faculty of Science, University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. Graduated from the University of Peradeniya obtaining B.Sc. Special Degree in Mathematics in 1992 and joined the University in 1993 as a Probationary Lecturer. Proceeded to AIT, Thailand for reading a M.Sc. in Computer Science and later completed the Ph.D. in 2004 at RMIT University, Australia. Promoted to the Grade of Senior Lecturer in 2004 and Professor of Computer Science in 2013. My areas of expertise are in the fields of Software Engineering and Database Management.

Statistics and Computer Science.
