Harshi Prasadini Gunawardena is currently working as a Lecturer attached to Department of Applied Nutrition, Faculty of Livestock, Fisheries & Nutrition, Wayamba University of Sri Lanka. She obtained the B. Sc. (special) Degree in Food Science and Nutrition (specialized in Nutrition), Wayamba University of Sri Lanka in 2006. Currently she is reading for PhD in Human Nutrition on Antioxidant status of type 2 diabetic, pre-diabetic and hypertensive patients and effect of cinnamon supplementation of blood pressure, antioxidants and cardiovascular markers of hypertensive patients attached to Post Graduate Institute of Science, Peradeniya.
