Biography
Ms.HNN Dilrukshi graduated with B.Sc in Food Science and Nutrition degree specializing in Livestock and Avian Sciences in 2009. After that she started her professional career as a temporary academic staff member in the Faculty of Livestock, Fisheries and Nutrition in 2009. Then she obtained her M.Sc degree from Postgraduate Institute of Agriculture, University of Peradeniya in 2012. In same year she joined as a permanent academic member to the department of Livestock and Avian Sciences. Her scientific research interests mainly focused on two major fields that proper animal nutrition through animal feeds production and Animal product processing. She is currently working on her M.Phil degree related to Sri Lankan Testudines.
Research Interest
Her research centers on evaluation of animal feed ingredients, formulation of new diets for animals, Animal product processing and new product developments.
