University of Khartoum  1968-1970-On a scholarship to LondonUniversity preparing for the PH.D, which I obtained in 1970.  1972, Head, Commercial Law Department,Faculty of Law,University of Khartoum  1975-1979 Dean, Faculty of Law,University of Khatoum  1979-2003, General Counsel and Director of the Legal Department of the Islamic Development Bank  2004 -, Fellow, Faculty of Law, University of Khartoum.  Consultant and co-founder of Synergy Consulting Limited 2004 –-  2006- Short term expert for the IMF, for the review of the interim Regulations for the implementation of Islamic Banking principles in the KyrgyzRepublic.  Member of the Advisory Board – International Financial Consulting Limited.(IFCL) – a Canadian Consultancy Firm 2004 –-  Member of the Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Sudan 2005- ….  Member of the Sharia supervisory Committee of Faisal Islamic Bank (Sudan).
