John L. Marshall

Biography

 John L. Marshall, M.D., has been Chairman of Precision Oncology Alliance at Caris Life Sciences, Inc. Dr. Marshall served as Chief Medical Officer of Caris Life Sciences, Inc. since May 17, 2017. Dr. Marshall serves as Director of Developmental Therapeutics program and Professor of Oncology and Medicine at the Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center at Georgetown University. Dr. Marshall serves as Director of Otto J. Ruesch Center for the Cure of Gastrointestinal Cancers, Chief of Division Hematology and Oncology at Department of Medicine- Georgetown University. He serves as Director of Oncology Services at Georgetown University Hospital. He serves as a Member of Scientific Advisory Board at Caris Life Sciences, Inc. He serves as a Member of the Scientific Advisory Board of Targeted Diagnostics & Therapeutics, Inc. and Personalized Cancer Therapy, Inc. He served as a Member of the Clinical Advisory Board of Therion Biologics Corporation. He completed his Residency and Fellowship in Hematology and Oncology from Georgetown University. Dr. Marshall earned his M.D. from the University of Louisville School of Medicine in 1988 and completed his specialty training in oncology at Georgetown University and a research fellowship at the Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center for the American Cancer Society. He has BS in Psychology from Duke University in 1982.
