Dr. Ulrich Schimpel combines more than 10y of expertise in applying highly innovative technologies (like cognitive computing, spot pricing, IoT, blockchain, simulation, and video analytics) to various industries (e.g. public sector, supply chain management / logistics, distributed energy, and nutrition/food) in order to deliver sustainable value to the business. Research Interest
Currently, he uses his expertise in the IBM CTO Europe Team to support dedicated (client) projects and technical pre-sales in Europe. Moreover, he "translates" between the "commercial world" and the "research world" of IBM.
