Biography

Ms. Cynthia Alison Gordon served as the Chief Executive Officer for Africa Division and Executive Vice President at Millicom International Cellular SA since September 21, 2015 until February 7, 2017. Ms. Gordon joined Millicom in September 2015. She served as the Group Chief Commercial Officer of Ooredoo Q.S.C. from January 2012 to September 21, 2015 and spent three years at MENA. She was responsible for Marketing, Distribution and Customer Services and focused on optimizing performance by reviewing and implementing commercial strategies to drive revenue and profitable growth. She served as Chief of Global Brands at Mobile Telesystems PJSC from December 2008 to July 11, 2011 and served as its Member of Management Board until July 11, 2011. She served as Chief Marketing Officer of Mobile Telesystems OJSC from January 18, 2007 to December 2008 and served as its Vice President of Marketing until December 2008. As Group Chief Commercial Officer at MTS in Russia and CIS from 2007 to 2009, she led the commercial strategy and direction for the company. While at MTS, she helped develop simplified tariffs and focused marketing strategies, building a global brand.
