Biography
"Dr. Kai Petersen is an Associate Professor of Software Engineering at Blekinge Institute of Technology, Sweden. He has authored over 70 research works in international journals and conferences, such as the scientific track of the international Conference on Software Engineering (ICSE), Journal of Systems and Software, and Information and Software Technology. Dr. Petersen has been ranked among the 18 most productive scholars in the area of agile software development based on publications in scientific journals of a total of 448 scholars (Sun-Wen Chuang et al., Assessment of institutions, scholars and contributions on agile software development (2001-2012), Journal of Systems and Software. The emphasis of his research lies on lean and agile software engineering. He worked intensively in the areas of software quality assurance, software measurement, and software security. Furthermore, his research focuses on the improvement of the way we are conducting empirical research in collaboration with industry."
