Biography
Björn Nordenvall is a lecturer and surgeon, educated at Karolinska Institutet. Björn has been most active (2002-2013) as a partner of the Finnish Private Equity company CapMan, responsible for investments in Life Science, for example, for the development of the care companies Proxima and Curato A / S, as well as the medical technology companies Jolife and SciBase. Prior to that, Björn was CEO of the Nasdaq-listed biotech company Oxigene and CEO of Sophiahemmet AB (1987-1996). Björn also joined Carnegie Medicine 1982-85, which was then sold to the Nobel Group.
Research Interest
His research interests lie in Healthcare and Medical Sciences. He is the Editor-in-Chief Member of many peer reviewed journals and his area of expertise credits him with many publications in national and international journals.
