Biography
Mr. Alex Syed serves as Vice President of Corporate Development at Alfa Laval AB and Alfa Laval Corporate AB. Mr. Syed served as the Managing Director - UK operations of Alfa Laval AB since November 17, 2005. After joining Alfa Laval AB in 1983, he spent ten years in a variety of sales and management positions before promotion to the role of General Manager of its Thermal operation in the Asia/Pacific region. After that he then moved into executive roles with Alfa Laval AB's Swedish and US operations, the last of which was as President of the Equipment Division. Immediately prior to his latest appointment, Mr. Syed worked with Alfa Laval's corporate development operation, overseeing major projects aimed at securing its market leading position in its core technologies of centrifugation and heat transfer.
