Biography
Professor Frostegård, born 1959, is Head of Unit for Immunology and Chronic Illness at the Institute of Environmental Medicine, Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm. Professor Frostegård leads a group of 10-15 research workers. He is a specialist in internal medicine and rheumatology and is a senior consultant at the Department of Emergency Care at Karolinska University Hospital, Huddinge. Professor Frostegård is inventor of about 20 TBC patent applications, several granted and about 140 TBC original scientific publications and several books. Frostegård is a director of Annexin since 2016.
