Biography
Joel is an Associate Professor of Radiology at Uppsala University. His primary research focus is the development, validation, and application of medical imaging techniques. He has more than 60 peer-reviewed publications, and holds a Master’s of Science in Engineering Physics, (2004), and a PhD in Medical Image Analysis, (2007). Joel is currently leading a group of researchers at the Department of Radiology at Uppsala University. The methods developed during his research have been applied in multiple national and international interventional trials, both with academia and the pharma industry. He has received multiple international awards for his scientific achievements.
Research Interest
His research interests lie in Medical Sciences. He is the Editor-in-Chief Member of many peer reviewed journals and his area of expertise credits him with many publications in national and international journals. He is committed to highest standards of excellence and it proves through his authorship of many books.
