Johannes Hulthe

Biography

Johannes is an associate professor in Cardiovascular Prevention at the Sahlgrenska University Hospital, Sweden. He has 12 years’ experience of the pharma industry, from all stages of pharmaceutical development – from conception of ideas, target identification/validation, pre-clinical development, translational medicine and biomarker development, early clinical development and proof of concept, as well as late clinical development, regulatory approval and life cycle management.Prior to co-establishing Antaros Medical, Johannes was VP Global Clinical Development for cardiovascular and metabolic diseases at AstraZeneca, where he was responsible for all clinical programs from Phase III through regulatory approval and life cycle management.

Research Interest

Johannes has a strong scientific background in areas of atherosclerosis, dyslipidemia, metabolism, diabetes and imaging. To date, he has more than 80 papers published in peer-reviewed journals.His other relevant experience includes patent applications, portfolio leadership and asset assessment.
